The married couple and their guests will arrive at the Palace after the civil or religious ceremony by boat and will be be served 'aperitif's' in the stunning Italian garden overlooking the Grand Canal. For the wedding breakfast it is possible to eat outside in the garden or alternatively you can dine in one of the stunning rooms inside the palace. This venue is perfect for smaller wedding groups who wish to hold their wedding in a truly spectacular grand Venetian palace but without the feeling of being lost in vast rooms.

What you need to know:

• This wedding venue is a four star hotel therefore it has accommodation, additionally if required, there is another 3 star hotel adjacent to this where guests can stay
• The venue does have internal catering therefore external caterers are not required
• The Ambassador's Palace is ideal for wedding receptions of up to 80 people 
• Taxi boats will be required to transport guests from the Palace to the town hall and then back again after the civil ceremony
• As in all buildings in Venice dancing is not permitted on the ‘noble floor’ (the first floor) but there are other rooms available for entertainment
• It is possible to have a symbolic wedding ceremony in the gardens of the Ambassador's Palace
